Janitorial and property maintenance are what we do every day. We work hard to keep buildings clean, well-maintained, and operating at their best—from offices, condominium common areas, and medical facilities to warehouses, storefronts, and new construction projects across New York and New Jersey.
- Office cleaningTrash, kitchens, restrooms, floors, desks and glass. Nightly or weekly.
- Carpet cleaningHallways, offices and conference rooms, apartments and homes, with our own extraction equipment.
- Window washingTilt-in windows in and out. Up to 4 stories with use of extension poles, scissor and boom lifts.
- Floor careMachine scrubbing, polishing, strip and wax, tile and grout.
- Post-constructionThe final clean on new builds and renovations, single units or whole buildings.
- Apartment turnoversMove-out cleans between tenants, appliances in and out included.
Also pressure washing, water back up services and the tough jobs that require unique processes, removing finishes/sealers from surfaces that were never supposed to be there. We find creative solutions.
What we maintainThe small repairs that come with a building.
Smaller and mid-size buildings usually end up with two vendors: a cleaning crew for the everyday work and a handyman for everything else. For the buildings we clean, one call covers both, from the burnt-out tube to the door that won’t latch to the wall that needs a patch.

Thirty-five years in the trade.
G&G Cleaning Service is family-owned and operated, with more than 35 years of hands-on experience. Our story goes back to the early 1990s, when John’s father, Cesar, managed janitorial services for a commercial office space in New York City. He later built his own cleaning business, serving offices, warehouses, and condominiums across New York and New Jersey.
John started riding along at the age of 12, carrying buckets and handing over tools. In 2011, with a business degree from New Jersey City University, he and his father formally established G&G Cleaning Service.
Cesar retired in 2019. John leads the team today, with the same standard: provide quality and reliable services while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Yes. General liability and workers’ compensation, and we send a certificate of insurance on request. Buildings in New York City won’t let a crew in without one, so it is always ready.
The same cleaners, assigned to your building and kept on it, so you are not meeting new people every week. John directly supervises the route team, covering one-off jobs and anything that comes up between visits.
Yes. Our own floor machines, carpet extraction equipment and the ladders and lifts for windows. For janitorial accounts, in addition to our own cleaning equipment and disinfectants, we also keep the restrooms stocked: paper towels and toilet tissue bought through the month and billed with the service.
Our primary service area is North/Central Jersey and Manhattan. However, we also travel beyond these areas for ongoing clients and long-standing relationships, allowing us to continue supporting properties wherever our services are needed.
